Cup #302 – Getting out the bubbles when throwing a cup…

The cup itself turned out well, but need to mention that this recent bag of clay has some serious bubbles. Even with much wedging there were random tiny bubbles in it. I was “chasing” down a nice little bubble while pulling out and went too deep to trim a decent foot on the cup. Turns out it looks just fine without one (in my opinion 😉

    Thanks Antonia! LOL…I just started using a rib to smooth out the bottoms of my cups. The thing now is to make sure it becomes a habit to grab and use it 😉
